We chose Palmetto Bay for our wedding destination after seeing Roatan on an episode of House Hunters International. The resort far exceeded our expectations; it was absolutely beautiful! Cecilia handled all of the logistics for the wedding and was wonderful to work with. She and her staff added many personal touches to make it even more special. The restaurant and its staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We liked the fact that Palmetto Bay is somewhat secluded and not commercial. It was very romantic and the perfect place to relax. We are not divers, but tried our hand at snorkeling. The staff did a wonderful job showing us how to do it. Palmetto Bay was the perfect wedding and honeymoon destination. We will definitely come back on one of our upcoming anniversaries.

Every Woman's dream is having the best wedding ever .. I must say that my dreams did come true, Cecilia*the wedding planner* did a fantastic job, everything was just I as wanted it , my guest was happy with the complete service there. The beach look liked a Girl's dream come true, all the natural flowers was everywhere , I must say I was very happy on choosing Palmetto for my wedding destination.I recommend Cecilia and Palmetto for a well organized and fully 5 star wedding and hotel destination.

The best Honduras has to offer. I just love this place , the custormer attention was the best ever. Looking at this web page is just what you get wend booking a vacation at Palmetto Bay Plantation! The natural wood cabañas, the amazing restaurant food and service, the long walks on the beach, the pleasurable massages on the long wooden dock, the swin in the pool . Palmetto is a hidden retreat resort!

The photos don't lie,this resort is stunning. Teaming with wildlife, beautiful views. It is a sanctuary if you are looking to get away. Food was great and the staff friendly and accomdating. You can do as much as you want or as little. I hope to get back.

Just returned and rate our trip as excellent. The house was perfect- great layout for a family- very livable, well constructed and maintained. The property overall is beautifully laid out, and well secured. The service of the staff was excellent- they were flexible and accommodating. The food was fresh and well prepared at the restaurant with lots of options for 3 meals a day - which we did on most days since it's more fun when you have a small family than eating in but the kitchen was well appointed if we chose to cook. We enjoyed every minute of our visit which included dive certification for our 14 year old son which was a terrific plus since he spent the better part of 4 days with the dive shop team doing several dives (all close to the resort). Yes, there are bugs. No, we did not drink water from the tap- but there was always plenty supplied in the restaurant or in the 5 gallon container in the house.

My family and I just spent a week at Palmetto Bay Resort and had a really wonderful time! The restaurant staff are cheerful and welcoming. Our real purpose for the visit, though, was to dive and the dive staff is fantastic! We have dived numerous places around the world and the dive staff at Palmetto Bay is the best. Both Laurie and Albert's expertise and graciousness made us feel comfortable and safe. We'll be back!

What a wonderful place to relax and leave the city life behind. Our house was right on the beach with views of the water from our wrap around porch. Every afternoon the kids and my husband and I played Uno or Scrabble with some popcorn and frozen smoothies and this amazing
view. What a chance to bond!
We loved the remoteness of the plantation and the kids loved the chance to explore the beach and nature.
The full modern kitchen was great, we ate most our meals in the house (big savings!)
I will definitely recommend to friends.

We are just back from our ten days at Palmetto Plantation & wanted to send a
special shout out on behalf Laurie, Albert & Brandon. We had a wonderful trip
with the easiest diving we have ever enjoyed - the Subway Team took care of
all our needs, & made us feel so comfortable that we ended up doing a lot more diving
that we had anticipated. It's a great setup - stroll 5 minutes from our
rented villa down to the Pier, where the team are waiting with boat, fresh
fruit & smiles. Couldn't have been happier with the service & will recommend
your company to friends travelling that way. A special thanks to Albert for
his diligent watch over us all as we were below him in the water. He made the
trip.

Luxury of the place definitely depends upon the cabin u get so choose wisely; each cabin (villa?) is different. The place is not as luxurious as the site makes it out to be but it's a FANTASTIC place. GREAT dive crew. Hope to go back someday for more diving and relaxation.
